Why It Rocks
- Great graphics that throwback to classic 2D side-scrolling video games.
- Incredibly fun, addictive gameplay.
- Unbelievably difficult, which is the main appeal. The difficulty rides the perfect line between driving you utterly bonkers when you fail and making you feel like a platform pro when you succeed.
- The level design is really creative and interesting.
- Excellent soundtrack, each console version has its own soundtrack.
- Over 200 levels to complete.
- Tones of humorous moments in the game, both in story and gameplay.
- Story mode is about 18 hours, but if you're aiming for a 100%, you'll need to beat all worlds, collect all bandages and earn all achievement/trophies (which also makes the game more challenging), you're looking at 100 hours of gameplay.
- Many character to unlock, most of which are based on many indie games.
- Really awesome animation.
- Exceptionally smooth and fluid controls.
- An epic 'Take That!' against the animal activist group known as PeTA in the form of Tofu Boy, who is an almost completely useless character.

Unlock And Play As Tofu Boy
On the character select screen, type 'petaphile' and select Meat Boy, and you willplay as Tofu boy.
Unlock And Play As Tim From Braid
Go to the character select screen and type 'outtatime'. Then choose any characterand you will then be playing as Tim. There won't be a 'push the buttons' soundeffect as with other secret characters.
Unlock And Play As Goo Ball
On the character select screen type in ' Ballgoo ' than select a character to playas Goo ball from World of Goo.
Unlockable Characters
To unlock Meat Ninja, get 100% game completion. The Meat Ninja runs very fast andcan even teleport. If you play as Meat Ninja, the leaderboards are disabled.
